Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt attended the premiere Of Sony Pictures’ “Salt” in Hollywood last night.
“What’s amazing about [Jolie] is the amount of things going on in her life and how calm she is in the middle of them,” producer Lorenzo di Bonaventura told PEOPLE. “She’s an unbelievably committed mom, and she’s an unbelievably committed actress, and on human rights … it’s a whirlwind going on around her, and in the middle of it she’s as calm as can be.”
At the afterparty, the couple was joined Jolie’s father, Oscar winner Jon Voight, who, according to PEOPLE mag, looked thrilled as Pitt chatted affectionately with him throughout the evening and he shared a hug with his daughter.
In related news, The UK Telegraph reports that Angelina and Catherine Zeta-Jones are both interested in taking on the lead role of Elizabeth Taylor in director Mike Nichols’ adaptation of the book Furious Love: Elizabeth Taylor, Richard Burton, and the Marriage of the Century. Russell Crowe, Clive Owen and Colin Farrell are reportedly being considered for the male lead, Richard Burton.
